December 1st Contradance

Our December dance will be the last one for the 2017 season and will have the band Men in Black playing with Peter Stix calling.

Men in Black is a trio of local musicians, organized by Robert Calandresa and made up of Robert playing accordion, John Potocnik on fiddle, and Tom Ives on bass. They have a wide range of musical backgrounds but together they play a mix of Celtic, French Canadian, and Old-time styles, with some country harmonies added in.

Peter Stix is a well-known caller and teacher of New England contradances, leading dances in and around the Capital District. And as editor and publisher of several collections of contradances, Peter offers a wide range of dances for all to enjoy!

Dancing begins at 7:30 PM and continues until 10:30 PM, with a short break for refreshments.
So before your holiday season gets too busy, try to join us for some stress-free fun!
